Features

  • Uses Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) charging method. MPPT is superior to cheaper Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) chargers, as it continually tracks the voltage from the solar panel input to extract the maximum power.
  • Supports LiFePO4 (lithium) batteries.
  • 12V system. Can be used with:
    • 12 V LiFePO4 batteries & '12 V' Solar panel(s)
  • Many inbuilt safety protections:
    • Solar Panel: Over current, short circuit, and reverse polarity.
    • Battery: Battery Protections: Reverse polarity, over voltage, over discharge, overheating, temperature sensor error, load overload, and load short circuit.
  • Aluminum housing for better cooling
  • Rated IP68 - dustproof & waterproof
  • Very low self consumption. 0.2 W (12 V).
    This minimises battery consumption at night, and minimises temperature increase on hot days.
