Great addition to any UniFi network. Runs completely silent with no fans and excellent performance. Easy to manage with the UniFi Controller.

The switch performs well and runs completely silent thanks to no fan (a big plus). It runs cool to the touch, although my switch is not heavily loaded as yet. The front touchscreen is a welcome edition and operates very smoothly and intuitively. It quickly shows the switch load and a ton of other settings without having to use any software - very impressive - would love to see more switches/rack equipment do this - helps with troubleshooting, inventory/asset management. You can't program the switch directly (although there is a debug terminal via the management software) - it's not standalone but is designed to be a part of the wider Ubiquiti eco-system. You have to program the switch using the UniFi management software. This isn't always intuitive, especially if you are used to more expensive switches. In the management software, you can't just right-click the switch icon and change all settings. Some of the important switch-settings are in the general-settings area (Networks, Profiles, etc). It's not as feature packaged as high-end switches, but it also does some things better thanks to close integration with the Ubiquiti eco-system - it’s also selling for a fraction of the price which was a big deciding factor in purchasing. This is a great switch and I highly recommend. I'm a repeat customer and will be certainly coming back for more as my budget allows. My only negative is the management software needs improvement, but that's probably my personal bias. Very happy with ubwh - thank you.
