The UniFi POE Switch 8 port model features a compact, sleek industrial design, 4 gigabit RJ45 ports and 4 auto sensing IEEE 802.3af PoE ports that can deliver up to 15.4W of power per port. This UniFi switch is fully manageable, offers non-blocking throughput switching performance and is perfect for adding ethernet ports to your network while keeping your PoE device powered. With a switching capacity of 16Gbps, the UniFi Switch can simultaneously process traffic on all its ports at line rate without experience any packet loss.
The switch can either be mounted vertically or horizontally in any direction, providing you flexibility to install your UniFi Switch any way that suits you. If the switch is mounted on a desktop or flat surface, the design features non-skid rubber feed to hold the unit in place. Hardware is also included if your unit will be wall mounted. For added peace of mind, there is also a security slot on the side of the UniFi Switch for a padlock.
Managed through the UniFi Controller
Once installed, the UniFi Controller platform can be used to manage your switch. The UniFi Controller allows you to manage and configure a range of features along with all of your other UniFi network devices.
