The Ubiquiti UniFi-Video range includes IP Cameras, plus a choice of Network Video Recorders (NVRs).
UniFi Video is a fully integrated IP video management surveillance system which is powerful, versatile and flexible to your needs. A UniFi Video set up is highly scalable and versatile for a number of different applications. This user interface is pre-installed on the UniFi NVR and therefore requires no further software installation, only your personal configuration. If you are not using the UniFi NVR, the UniFi Video User Guide contains instructions on how to install the software on your computer or other hardware platform, granted is meets the system requirements. Through the interface, you are able to view camera details, live streaming and also set up maps to plan out camera placement/coverage. You’ll also be able to monitor multiple camera feeds in a single view, the interface provides 12 templates for these ‘Live Views’, with support for up to 26 cameras.
All UniFi-Video cameras transmit video and audio streams back to the NVR. In addition, you can login directly to the camera and view the live video stream via an RSTP feed.

The Ubiquiti NVR is basically a software application, plus reasonably large disk storage. The NVR (Network Video Recorder) is capable of managing and recording video from up to 26 cameras. The UniFi NVR can be quickly set up, configured and deployed for use with your UniFi Video network.
