Bought 2 flex minis, one to add a few ports to an EdgeSwitch 16 and one to increase port availability in a media room (off a Unifi 24 POE). Both run over POE, adopted immediately into a cloud key gen2 and a docker controller.

Working well, tiny (about the size of a wallet) and silent. Doesn't do POE passthrough, has some VLAN/port profile capabilties. Comes with absolutely no instructions, but if you've used Unifi gear before it's pretty self explanatory.

If you're looking for a more full featured option, the EdgeRouter X for another $15-20 may be worth it.

A very neat little PoE (or USB C) powered switch. It was detected and adopted by my Unifi controller (which then applied a firmware update) with no difficulties. Minimal configuration is available, and none at all is needed before use. Ample performance to support 4 devices, with the fifth port being the uplink. As as desktop mini-switch to allow additional ethernet devices such as printers or a second computer on a desk or in a single office, extending an existing Unifi managed environment, it's just about ideal.

Initially when I opened the package I was confused to discover that the box had been opened and then resealed, but I then realised that I had purchased the unit without a power supply, whilst the packaging stated it included one. I must assume it had been opened and the PSU (perhaps with an overseas plug?) had been removed, so no problems!!

Great product, didn’t come with a USB-C adapter which was surprising but I was planning to use POE anyway.

The mini Flex is an excellent option where a few extra ports are needed at an edge location. Being able to be powered over POE also helps minimise the clutter and keeps it running off a central power source.

Adoption was easy and updates just as simple.

It is also tiny.

And the service from UBWH is excellent, good comms and fast delivery.

Thanks

Works well and integrates nicely with UniFi Controller management software.

Mine did actually come with a USB-C power supply, though it has a USA plug (not a problem because I always intended to power it via PoE).
