Ubiquiti AirMax

LTU - Point to Multi-Point

Based on Ubiquiti’s LTU technology, the LTU range is not impeded by the limitations of standard 802.11 Wi-Fi technology. Its custom LTU silicon and radio architecture provide up to 600+ Mbps of real TCP/IP throughput and modulation rates of up to 4096QAM.

CPE Modes

The LTU range supports both bridged and NAT router modes to suit your specific deployment.

Frequency Split

The LTU range can use different frequencies for TX and RX to avoid interference.

Improved Noise Immunity

The LTU range directs RF energy in a tighter beamwidth. With the focus in one direction, the LTU LR blocks or spatially filters out noise to improve noise immunity. This is especially important in an area crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency.

Point to Point Links

Ubiquiti has numerous Point to Point products, delivering up to 1.7 Gbps at an affordable price point.

Applications

File sharing between sheds, offices and other buildings
Internet/email connection extension to a remote building
Video surveillance using IP cameras.
Fiber alternative
Etc...

For long distance applications with a range of up to 50 km (in Australia), the AF-5XHD is the product to use. This offers up to 1 Gbps throughput and can be used with any of the Ubiquiti 5Ghz antennas.

For shorter distance (up to 300m), the GBE offers up to 1.7 Gbps throughput. We have these as a pre configured point to point link here... These also come in a Unifi version which you can adopt in the UniFi controller, called the UBB.

3. Same Day Dispatch. Our new warehouse will dispatch orders the same day in 98% of cases, for orders paid before 12.30pm AEST and shipped by Australia Post. Occasionally, large orders will cause a delay until the next business day.

4. Extended Warranties on everything we sell. Optional 2 and 3 year warranties are in addition to the normal Manufacturer's Warranty, plus the Consumer Guarantee required by Australian Consumer Law (ACL) for all Australian Consumers, at a small cost. UniFi Design Webpage

Ubiquiti has launched a new design website. Where you can upload your floor plans and the program will make suggestions of product requirements and placement. You can also design installations in visual form for clients to use as a sales tool.

Online Training

The new UNMS Course has been added.

In a world's first, Online training (developed in Australia) is now available for the Ubiquiti products shown.

You benefit in a number of ways:

Cheaper - than attending a formal 2-day course in a classroom environment.
Faster - no need to wait until the next classroom course is scheduled nearby.
More convenient - the self-paced courses can be scheduled around other demanding work.
More practical - the Ubiquiti classroom courses are great for students needing to delve deep into theory such as Radio Waves, Antenna design, TDMA protocols, Link-Budgets, UniFi-WiFi site surveys, etc. But in many cases, students just want to know how to setup some very common scenarios. These Installer courses are targeted with less theory and more practice.

The way each course works is ... each student:

signs up and receives by email a set of detailed course notes. These can be kept as a reference document for use later on-the-job.
is allocated real test hardware for 7 days. This is hardware the student gets to configure (over the Internet).
passes an online quiz for each module. When all module quizzes have been passed, the student gets emailed a Certificate of Completion.
