New Products

UniFi Dream Machine Pro

The UniFi Dream Machine Pro is an all-in-one network appliance for a scalable network in an office, retail, or hospitality environment. Powered by a fast 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, the UDM Pro combines multiple functions into a single device.

  • Advanced Security Gateway with Built-in Switch
  • Dual WAN Ports: One 10G SFP+ and One Gigabit RJ45
  • One 10G SFP+ LAN Port and 8 Gigabit RJ45 ports
  • Embedded Enterprise Software: UniFi Network
  • 3.5" HDD Bay for NVR Storage (2.5" HDD also supported)

Redundancy

The UDM Pro supports multiple redundancy options to ensure your network remains operational:
  • Dual WAN with Failover - Supports dual internet/ISP connections with failover: if the primary WAN connection drops, it will automatically switch to the other WAN connection.
  • Power Supply Redundancy and Failover - The UDM Pro supports a PSU failover system, the UniFi SmartPower RPS, model USP-RPS. If the internal power supply unit fails, the proprietary USP RPS interface acts to provide redundant power for backup. Requires use of the USP-RPS (coming soon).

Powerful Security

The UDM Pro offers advanced firewall policies and persistent threat management to act as an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and Intrusion Detection System (IDS).

Additional Features

  • Automatic QoS Top QoS priority is assigned to voice and video traffic.
  • VPN Server for Secure Communications A site-to-site VPN secures and encrypts private data communications travelling over the internet.
  • Convenient VLAN Support The UDM Pro can create virtual network segments for security and network traffic management.
  • Innovative Display The 1.3" touchscreen displays status information for easy monitoring and quick troubleshooting.

LTU-Lite - 5 GHz PtMP Client Radio

Featuring an integrated antenna (13 dBi), the LTU-Lite is a compact, cost-effective subscriber station utilizing the 5 GHz radio band. It functions as a CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) in a Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) environment with the LTU Rocket as the basestation.

Proprietary LTU Technology

Based on Ubiquiti’s LTU technology, the LTU Lite is not impeded by the limitations of standard 802.11 Wi-Fi technology. Its custom LTU silicon and radio architecture provide up to 600+ Mbps of real TCP/IP throughput and modulation rates of up to 4096QAM.

CPE Modes

The LTU-Lite supports both bridged and NAT router modes to suit your specific deployment.

Frequency Split

The LTU-Lite can use different frequencies for TX and RX to avoid interference.

Convenient Mount Options

The LTU-Lite is designed for quick yet reliable mounting on a pole or on a wall. All necessary mounting hardware is included (See pictures).

Auto Power Adjustments

By default, the Auto Output Power option allows the LTU-Lite to set the output power (EIRP) to the appropriate level.

Signal Control

The LTU-Lite TX output power is controlled by the AP's target TX output power. A PtMP network can manage signal levels to enhance network stability and achieve optimal wireless performance with the highest possible modulation.

Stories Of The Month
12 LTU "Monster Tower" Deployment

"With such a large volume I knew we needed to go big or go home. It was time to bring out the big guns and really put LTU to the test. We pay per antenna on this site so to maximize our capacity and minimize our monthly lease we decided to utilize 4 of the AP-5AC-90-HD sectors. This will potentially give us 2 Gbps+ in bandwidth capacity at 20 Mhz channel widths. Our goal is to support up to 100 Mbps speeds to customers off this tower.

We have dubbed this tower the first "Monster Tower" in our footprint due to the sheer amount of capacity we can distribute from here."

UniFi Training1

UniFi Training2

In a world's first, Online training (developed in Australia) is now available for the Ubiquiti products shown.

You benefit  in a number of ways:

  • Cheaper - than attending a formal 2-day course in a classroom environment.
  • Faster - no need to wait until the next classroom course is scheduled nearby.
  • More convenient - the self-paced courses can be scheduled around other demanding work.
  • More practical - the Ubiquiti classroom courses are great for students needing to delve deep into theory such as Radio Waves, Antenna design, TDMA protocols, Link-Budgets, UniFi-WiFi site surveys, etc. But in many cases, students just want to know how to setup some very common scenarios. These Installer courses are targeted with less theory and more practice.

The way each course works is ... each student:

  • signs up and receives by email a set of detailed course notes. These can be kept as a reference document for use later on-the-job.
  • is allocated real test hardware for 7 days. This is hardware the student gets to configure (over the Internet).
  • passes an online quiz for each module. When all module quizzes have been passed, the student gets emailed a Certificate of Completion.
