UBWH COVID-19 Update
UBWH Australia warehouses stock with a major company that is classified as an essential service; meaning orders will continue to be processed and delivered.
This being said, there may be some minor delays with delivery time frames. This is due to the warehouse using less staff to remain inline with the COVID19 regulations, and a slight delay with Australia Post/TNT as they too reduce their staff to meet regulations.

Here at UBWH Australia, we are always looking at ways to better serve our customers. We have made the choice to simplify our pricing structure to bring you the one low price on all orders. Previously you had to spend $2,000 to get a discount, now you can enjoy the new low price on all order values.

30 day Credit facility disabled
With the uncertainty the COVID-19 virus has brought, we have decided to temporarily disable 30 day credit accounts. Once the economic climate improves, these will be automatically switched back on. The payment options still available include:
- Fast 1 hr EFT payments
- BPAY (credit card can be a funding source)
- Credit card (where you bank provides credit)
- Paypal
- Bitcoin

Working from Home?

Work Phone at Home
If you need to bring your work phone home, in many cases they need a 48V power-over-ethernet (PoE) power supply. We have sold out of our Ubiquiti 48V PoE supplies due to the rush of demand to power Voice over IP (VoIP) phones at home.
But we do have some of these smart 48V PoE switches. Because they use the smart 802.3af protocol, they only enable 48V if the device at the other end signals that it is 48V PoE compatible. So if you plug in a printer or laptop, the 48V will not be enabled.

1. Authorised Ubiquiti RMA Centre for Australia. We have worked closely with Ubiquiti USA to set this up. When you lodge warranties with us and send the faulty item back, we send you a new one from our stock. No more lengthy turn around times. View the new RMA form here.
2. Reseller Discount Program. We're always looking at ways to reward our customers. For approved applicants we have introduced a number of initiatives, including reduced pricing and free returns, to improve your margins and make it easier for you to deal with us. 3. Same Day Dispatch. Our new warehouse will dispatch orders the same day in 98% of cases, for orders paid before 12.30pm AEST and shipped by Australia Post. Occasionally, large orders will cause a delay until the next business day.
If critical, please contact us prior to ordering. We will update you on the days proceedings and will endeavor to have your paid order dispatched same day.
4. Extended Warranties on everything we sell. Optional 2 and 3 year warranties are in addition to the normal Manufacturer's Warranty, plus the Consumer Guarantee required by Australian Consumer Law (ACL) for all Australian Consumers, at a small cost. Story Of The Month
UniFi Network and Camera Installation Between Two Buildings using UBB
We had a new challenge which we were able to accomplish- thanks to the new UniFi Building to Building bridge from Ubiquiti. One of our clients approached us to connect his Main House with a Guest house in a Florida Community. We couldn’t run any fiber or cat cable between the houses due to HOA restrictions and some of the neighbours didn’t like the idea that we bury some cables in their front or back yard.

Online Training
The UniFi Course has been upgraded and is now based on Version 5 of the Controller and runs on a CloudKey.
In a world's first, Online training (developed in Australia) is now available for the Ubiquiti products shown.
You benefit in a number of ways:
- Cheaper - than attending a formal 2-day course in a classroom environment.
- Faster - no need to wait until the next classroom course is scheduled nearby.
- More convenient - the self-paced courses can be scheduled around other demanding work.
- More practical - the Ubiquiti classroom courses are great for students needing to delve deep into theory such as Radio Waves, Antenna design, TDMA protocols, Link-Budgets, UniFi-WiFi site surveys, etc. But in many cases, students just want to know how to setup some very common scenarios. These Installer courses are targeted with less theory and more practice.
The way each course works is ... each student:
- signs up and receives by email a set of detailed course notes. These can be kept as a reference document for use later on-the-job.
- is allocated real test hardware for 7 days. This is hardware the student gets to configure (over the Internet).
- passes an online quiz for each module. When all module quizzes have been passed, the student gets emailed a Certificate of Completion.
