airFiber 11FX Bundle (Low Band)
Operating in the 11 GHz band (licensed), the airFiber-11FX builds on the innovations in airFiber-24 to enable aggregate speeds up to 1.2 Gbps (MIMO).
This bundle contains parts for 1 end. 2 bundles are required for a link.

- Complete Kit: Includes Radio, MIMO duplexers, and 30 dBi antenna with mounting.
- ACMA Compliant: The antenna has been chosen as it has been ACMA approved.
- Fast: Up to 1.2+ Gbps throughput.
Technical Specifications
- Full-Duplex: Simultaneous transmit and receive on 2 different frequencies
- Channel Ranges: Low band duplexer: 10.700 to 10.955 GHz and 11.200 to 11.445 GHz.
- Speeds: up to 1.2 Gbps MIMO
- Range: up to 300 km (subject to licence parameters)
- Power options: PoE (supplied) or DC Terminals
- Highest Performance Value: Modulation up to 1024QAM with Ultra-Low Latency
- Antenna Compliance ACMA-RALI FX3 Grade B (AUS and NZ ready)
Antenna Compliance
The 11GHz spectrum is a licensed band regulated by the ACMA. Details of compliance requirements can be found in the ACMA publication "ACMA RALI: FX-3 Appendix 11" found here. When applying for a licence, you will be required the provide the Front to Back Ratio and the Cross Polarisation Discrimination. These can be found in the product datasheet, but are mentioned here for ease:

Co-working Space 100% Wireless with UniFi Gear
"As a network consultant, I was called to design and deploy a wifi network for a co-working space that, at the time, was still at construction stage. The initial idea was to wire all the working positions, but after some talk, the owners were convinced that we could go 100% wireless instead of deploying cables. While cabling would solve the network requirements for the working positions, it would not provide wireless connectivity, which would be needed anyway."

Online Training
The UniFi Course has been upgraded and is now based on Version 5 of the Controller and runs on a CloudKey.
In a world's first, Online training (developed in Australia) is now available for the Ubiquiti products shown.
You benefit in a number of ways:
- Cheaper - than attending a formal 2-day course in a classroom environment.
- Faster - no need to wait until the next classroom course is scheduled nearby.
- More convenient - the self-paced courses can be scheduled around other demanding work.
- More practical - the Ubiquiti classroom courses are great for students needing to delve deep into theory such as Radio Waves, Antenna design, TDMA protocols, Link-Budgets, UniFi-WiFi site surveys, etc. But in many cases, students just want to know how to setup some very common scenarios. These Installer courses are targeted with less theory and more practice.
The way each course works is ... each student:
- signs up and receives by email a set of detailed course notes. These can be kept as a reference document for use later on-the-job.
- is allocated real test hardware for 7 days. This is hardware the student gets to configure (over the Internet).
- passes an online quiz for each module. When all module quizzes have been passed, the student gets emailed a Certificate of Completion.
