The LocoM2 operates in the 2.4 GHz band, and can do Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point-to Multi-Point (PtMP ) links.
Comes with 24V Power over Ethernet adaptor and Australia power cable.
airMAX Mode
By default "M" series products ship from the factory with the proprietary Ubiquiti airMAX protocol turned on. airMAX networks have much greater data capacity compared to standard WiFi, but are NOT WiFi compatible.
WiFi Mode
airMAX can simply be turned off in 2.4 GHz Ubiquiti "M2" products. When this is done the device can act as:
- A Standard, Outdoor WiFi Access Point (AP). Devices like phones, laptops, etc can connect using WiFi to the "M" device.

- A Long-Range, Outdoor WiFi Station ('client'). The "M" device can connect to any industry standard WiFi AP.
