The EdgeRouter 6, 6-Port Gigabit Router with 1 SFP Port, delivers 3.4 million packets per second routing performance in a compact and cost-effective unit.
This router includes configurable PoE ports to power your airMAX devices, as well as a SFP port for fiber uplinking. The EdgeRouter 6P offers a versatile design and can be rack-mounted with the use of the EdgeRouter Rack Mount Kit, model ER-RMKIT (sold separately).
Centralized Network Management
The EdgeRouter 6 is supported and managed by UNMS (Ubiquiti Network Management System), a comprehensive controller with an intuitive UI. A single control plane manages registered EdgeMAX devices across multiple sites. The UNMS allows you to configure, monitor, upgrade and back up your Ubiquiti devices. You can configure outage alerts and email notifications through the platform. UNMS provides real time data concerning device and network performance, signal and bandwidth. Individual device configuration is available within the platform as well, allowing a network manager to configure routes, firewall policies and routing features.
