Why Slant-45
With phase-varying signals (as used by airMAX and airFiber radios), there is additional isolation between nearby Horizontal/Vertical (0/90 degree) MIMO signals and Slant-45 (+45/-45 degree) MIMO signals. In other words; there is less mutual interference between H/V and Slant-45 networks.
